Maccabiah Update 19th July

July 19th, 2009

The Trios event ended in controversy today after both the men’s and women’s Israel1 teams were penalised for amending the order of their teams between the fifth and sixth games. The women’s team therefore lost out on the silver medal.  They had previously been warned for contravening another rule by not cleaning the gripsack powder from their balls.

Team GB1 and Team GB2 finished in joint 6th position with 3229 pins.
